Theatre Louisiane has performed in a variety of spaces throughout the New Orleans area, including two traditional theatre spaces, a warehouse, a restaurant, and a nightclub. Our artists have developed an interest in performing in various spaces regionally, nationally, and internationally. Recent touring engagements include The Music of Erich Zann to McNeese University Theatre and dis+graced to the Montreal Fringe Festival. We are currently offering our critically acclaimed-projects as touring works, and our rates range within an affordable $600-$1000 USD for one weekend of performances (up to three shows), plus travel and lodging costs incurred. Approximate running time for most projects is 40-60 minutes, and most performances feature small casts and video projection for an intimate audience experience.
Booking Policies: All performances must be booked a minimum of one-hundred and twenty (120) days in advance. A non-refundable 50% deposit is also due at that time. Checks and money orders must be made payable to Theatre Louisiane, Inc. Design renderings, scripts, video samples, and publicity samples for all projects are available to those interested in booking us for a nominal fee. Talk-backs are available for all touring projects by prior arrangement. Requirements for all touring projects are: a playing space and backstage area appropriate for the project(s), standard lighting instruments (minimum of six) with control board and suitable dimmer system, and a compact disc sound system with sufficient amplification for the designated performance space. Theatre Louisiane can provide its own lighting system at an extra charge of $200. For projects that feature projection, we will have to be able to run our DVD player and LCD projector directly into the sound system that is provided by the space. Theatre Louisiane will provide a projection screen for multimedia projects. Please be aware that it will be necessary that we rig our screen to some element in the performance space, such as an existing grid or batten. Theatre Louisiane will provide technical personnel. Our company will also provide its own lighting gels, a black cyclorama, scenic items/properties/costumes for the project(s), a standardized press kit, 300 posters (11x17), and 300 double-sided postcards (5.5x8.5). The venue will be responsible for box office, marketing, and (if needed) concessions personnel.
Please contact us if you are interested in booking one of our performances for your space!
